The Wittner Finetune Geared Peg is the perfect “non-slip” peg solution for your Cello.
Made from composite and light alloy material, it maintains the traditional hardwood appearance demanded by professional musicians. Installed by pressing into place without glue. The Peg shaft stays in place, and tuning is done by turning the peg head. There is no peg/pegbox friction, and the peg is unaffected by climate and humidity changes.

Only the button and the knurled middle section of the shaft (on which the string is wound) move. The Fine Tune pegs have an internal gearing ratio of 8:1 for precise tuning. The taper ratio for these pegs is 1:25.

Available in different size options:

- 15.5mm (for 4/4 size cello)
- 14.0mm (for 4/4 size cello)
- 12.5mm (for 4/4 - 3/4 size cello)
- 12mm (for 1/2-1/4 size cello)
- 10.8mm (for 1/2-1/4 size cello)

Cello sizes are approximate. It may be necessary to ream the peg hole to the proper size. Please use the pictured instructions to measure the peg hole before purchasing.
