How it works?

Ricestar is a selective post-emergent herbicide designed to target grassy weeds, specifically Echinochloa sp. When applied after weeds have emerged, Ricestar disrupts their growth. The herbicide is absorbed by the leaves and stems and moves throughout the plant.

Mixing it with a broadleaf herbicide like Sunrice in a tank increases its effectiveness and provides complete weed control in your rice fields.

Mode of action

The active ingredient in Ricestar herbicide is fenoxaprop-p-ethyl. Once absorbed by the leaves and stems of grassy weeds, fenoxaprop-p-ethyl interferes with the creation of fatty acids in the actively growing parts, disrupting the normal development of the weeds.

This disruption hampers the weed’s ability to grow and stay alive.
